Foligno, Teuvo, and Bertuzzi better of been the ones being chewed out by the rookies.
I was just thinking after watching that. It was one of the worst games I’ve seen from the team all year long.
Those are the games that can’t happen next year.
The part that’s confusing is that we had a good first period. Being down 1-0 after one period shouldn’t spiral a team. Is that just the product of a really young team, or is it coaching? It’s probably both. It’s just perplexing to have a good period and then get crushed for 40 mins.
Sorenson is not the coach for next year.
This team has had the same problem with Richardson.

the biggest thing is they gotta nail the next coaching hire, Sorensen is coaching a terrible roster but I’ve not really seen anything that he should be the future coach
The Blackhawks need their Ben Johnson. GMKD and Co. should know by now what type of coach they need to lead their roster going forward. Identify your candidates, then give a blank check to the guy you’re most confident in. This coaching hire is crucial for this organ-I-zation.
For the record, anytime you hear about a team meeting mid season in any sport it is usually a sign that a locker room is on life support. Apparently tearing a team to the studs and sucking beyond belief for multiple years straight isn’t actually a great way to build a culture
