  1. It leaves a bad taste in my mouth to root for the Jays, but I’m far less worried about Toronto in August than I am about the Red Sox. Bury them early in the season. Let them fall into a hole they can’t climb out of.

  2. Rodon is going to be fine once he gets the walks back to career norms. The K’s are there and he’s getting tons of ground balls (though how sustainable that is is TBD)

  3. Fried on the mound. He was brought here to compliment Gerrit Cole that no longer an option in 2025. Max your the ace, the stopper it’s time to shove today. Win today then we have 6 games at home, then another 3 on Tampa at Steinbrenner.

This team will be okay Reinforcements are on the way soon (Schmidt’s return)

Max Fried K Counter (loading….) yes for this year only since no Gerrit Cole

You’re the Ace Max time to act like it today get us out of Siberia with a “W”

  4. Today’s Desktop Calendar Trivia/Fact:

    >On this date in 1963, Joe Pepitone slugged two home runs on Opening Day in an 8-2 victory over the Athletics. No Yankees player homered twice in the opener again until Giancarlo Stanton in 2018.

  5. Give Jazz a rest day. Don’t need him half ass’ing AB’s cause he’s cold

  6. Today is a day where an ace type of outing for Fried could be big for this team. Go get em

  7. We got a couple guys slumping since the calendar turned to April.

    Wells .185/.258/.296 in 31 PA
    Chisholm .118/.167/.265 in 36 PA
    Bellinger .150/.227/.150 in 22 PA

Bellinger has been banged up. Chisholm has struck out 15(!) times in 36 PA. Brutal.

They’ll snap out of it soon enough.
