It was a bad (dirty) play but I think it was more from ignorance than malice. But it is also not the first time he has done this. Check out the video of his last fight. Let’s get the W and lay some clean hard hits on him, make him keep his head on a swivel all night.
The player’s, like most of the current comments, have moved on. He’s insignificant to the bigger goal. There’s no need for the retaliation with the risks of more injuries before the playoffs. The Caps just need to play their game.
