It is baffling to me that Ty Jerome is not being considered more for 6th man of the year. Even Russell Westbrook has passed him in the odd odds.
I honestly don’t know what people are watching. He’s been awesome all season, but even more so after the All-Star break when the teams really needed him.

It’s because of the minutes. He doesn’t really get a lot of minutes even though he’s extremely effective in those minutes
Pritchard is the heavy favorite to win. He averages 8 more minutes and 1 more point per game than Ty. Nas Reid won last year when he was 12th in scoring for bench players.
Do you think Mitchell and Mobley shouldn’t get all NBA because they average 6-8 minutes less per game than most of the other players under consideration?
I don’t love the “since the all star break” stance if I am going use that against Draymond to argue in favor of Mobley for DPOY. However he has been great all year
I award this post 5 gold stars. Let em Know brother.
Fuckin A he should be 6th man of the year.
I genuinely believe he’ll rescue at least 1 playoff game as long as Kenny lets him (which he will).
So happy for Ty…..and for Kobe and the Cavs organization for taking a chance on him and then not being afraid to let a $2.5M earn big minutes on a roster with 4 all stars.

That’s damn near an All-Star…
