Not sure how I feel about Jarnkrok in the top six. He hasn’t really impressed me wherever they have played him to be honest. I think Robbie needs to be in the lineup regardless at this point hopefully he can pot a couple big goals in Round 1.

  1. Are they going to play Hakanpaa? There was another post recently saying they’d only dress 5 D for MTL

  2. Jarnkrok is very reliable. Makes that 2nd line more reliable defensively.

Berube can play some mix and match as well depending on game situations. I don’t hate this at all, especially considering that 3rd line has had some amazing offensive chemistry this year.

  3. I like Robertson in the lineup, but he needs to play to his strength more. Get open for one timers/shots. Get the puck to Domi then get into the slot.

  4. If Patch can play game 1, 3rd line of McMann Domi and Patch is pretty decent.

  5. I personally think it’s more about putting McMann on the 3rd line to give the bottom six more depth. We saw a long stretch of games where McMann-Tavares-Nylander were on fire, but then the third line was not as good. Tavares-Nylander are going to drive the play – that’s what they do – and it doesn’t matter as much who is the winger alongside them – hell we even saw Holmberg there for a stretch. Personally, come playoffs, as long as he’s healthy, I’d like to see a bottom six of: Laughton-Domi-Patches, Lorentz-Kampf-Jarnkrok, with Robertson as the 13F.

  6. Don’t know why you’d get away from McMann JT Willy. It’s been a good line

  7. Yep Jarnkrok instead of McMann, is nuts and I bet chief knows it. Problem when they put him on third, the line is lacking. I have a lot of love for what Jarnkrok brings, but right now he doesn’t fit with the second line, Bobby does. I watch the other night and just kept saying, why Booby not with willy and JT?
