Keep him a raider

  1. Dude has earned it. While truthfully he’s a low end WR1, but he’s a great #2 Target behind Bowers. So it works.

  2. Statistically, if we target Jakobi 100% of the time he will catch 100% of the footballs and we will score on every drive.

  3. He is simply an amazing worker,  guys around the league no it,  and he is a key reason why we have been even semi competent on that side of the ball.

If one considers the debatable QB play, and less than ideal play calling, it is a wonder he has been putting up the numbers he has.

  4. Great receiver, great blocker, not a diva, and great leadership. Yes, please. Sign him up please and Kolton next.

  5. My favorite thing about Jakobi is that there’s nothing elite about him, he’s just a baller. He isn’t fast, not the best route runner, isn’t a good tackle breaker, and he has issues with extending plays. What makes him great is the ability to catch anything coming his way. He can be locked up by a great CB or be in triple coverage it doesn’t matter because you can trust him to make that catch. I can’t wait to see him with an actual gunslinger QB and an OC like Kelley.

  6. If the price is right. He’s a dependable target but historically he hasn’t had huge production. He’s a still a WR2 IMO.

  7. My personal order of ops would be:

    Draft
    2nd wave of FA (WR,CB,S)
Re-up our own (Miller & Meyers)

I know all of these things are quasi happening simultaneously but that’s priority I’d place on them.

  8. Really hope we keep him long term. He does everything he is suppose to. And he isn’t likely to have some stupid contract.

  9. Not only the fact that he had zero drops last year with our trash qb situation he also is a great blocker… that alone we should resign a wr who loves to block

  10. I wouldn’t pay him until we see how he looks with Geno. Bad QBs feed their top receivers no matter what. Geno won’t force it to him like others did.

  11. Just a hard working kid with none of that diva drama nonsense.

One of the few things McDaniels and Ziegler got right.

  12. Dude is a baller, and Raider Nation will never forget his game winning touchdown pass to Jones.

  13. Very very good wr2. Players always talk about his work ethic, ferocious blocker with good hands. Lacks super splashy big play ability but that’s what a wr1 is for
