  1. Same recipe for almost every at bat these last few series. Swing at 1st and 2nd pitch 80% of the time so your quickly down 0-2 (if you haven’t already lined/ground out) early and have to swing at some nonsense.

Have faith they’ll figure it out, but how many games are you gonna throw away with potentially one of the best offenses in baseball just fast asleep right now. Have to change something, strategy at the plate, lineup, anything to get you out of this awful funk.

  2. Someone file a missing persons report for the entire team. They replaced the 8-0 squad with some dudes from my local slow pitch softball league

  3. Despite the hot start, the team has yet to actually click. The offense is just not showing up, especially the bottom of the lineup. It’s legitimately a black hole there.

We tend to be slow in April so it’s not out of the ordinary but with how the offseason went after winning the WS, the narrative surrounding this team is different from before.

BUT… the most annoying part about all of this is the doomers. They are finally back in full swing folks lol

  4. This team needs to collectively look in the mirror and understand that the whole team can’t get carried.

Most players have to contribute or you’re just the fucking 2022 Angels.

  5. Well it’s been a horrendous week and a half for this ballclub. Here’s to a new week and hopefully turning the tide. See y’all tomorrow!!!

  6. Surely there must be a middle ground between “8-0 best start by a defending champion ever” and “3-6 best moment was a position player imitating his teammates pitching”.

  7. They are wasting 3 roster spots with Barnes, Taylor and Rojas for world series win vibes. It’s no surprise the offense will suffer when the big bats aren’t hitting

  8. Classic dodgers not doing well at some point early in the season

Literally happens every year. I’m not worried.

  9. Last 3 series L is pain but we weren’t good in April last year. So….

    Let’s sweep next series!!!

  10. Next series is up against the Rockies. Hopefully the boys can pick up some momentum and end April strong. Not to panic too early, but hopefully a chasm doesn’t open up in the division.

  11. I know it’s only April but losing three straight series in a row is very frustrating, especially since the bottom of the lineup is probably hitting a combined .120 at best.

  12. i hate complaining in april/may because it’s early season ofc but the lack of enthusiasm/effort is breaking ma fawking balls

  13. Just call Kim up already ffs. So tired of seeing Muncy, Rojas and Kike make up 1/3rd of our starting lineup.

  14. Fucking oof.

I’m glad we’re in this terrible slump now instead of October, because this offense right now is very 2022-2023 NLDS-esque.

  15. Yes, it’s a long season, the team will be fine in the long run, it’s only April. But we’re still here watching these games in April, aren’t we? Just like the team is allowed to have bad games and bad series, we’re allowed to be unhappy about it and vent (in a rational, respectful way). So I urge some of us to remember that before popping off about how we’re all a bunch of dumb doomers etc.

Anyway, the Rockies are looking putrid so looking forward to tomorrow night

  16. I feel like I’m not watching a team that wants to win anymore. The energy is just gone. Makes me sad.

  17. It’s still April so no need to freak out , but they’re just so not fun to watch rn

  18. I’m glad there is historical precedence for shitty Aprils prior to dominating through the summer.

Flush this and keep chugging along.

  19. It’s funny seeing fans in denial of the slump and concerning red flags popping up. Offensively and defensively a shit show

  20. That 8-0 start feels like an eternity ago. But slumps do happen in a long season. We’ll get back on track here, hopefully sooner than later. Maybe we can use this upcoming series against the Rockies to try to “get right” here.

Even though we lost this series, a positive we can takeaway from this is our starting pitching looks solid. Yamamoto, Sasaki, and Glasnow all pitched well enough to keep us in the game (when they were pitching). Just couldn’t get enough run support this series.

  21. The offense is very quiet this year. 4.3 runs per game, which is about MLB average.

The dodgers are also one of the only teams to have not put up double digit runs in a game yet.

  22. At what point do we we seriously question whether Muncy has any use. Even the radio team calls out how much he has stricken out at bat. Top of the order can be killing it and when Muncy comes up you know it’s probably going to be a K.
