At the very least, we must come out of this draft with a starting running back. We could kind of get away with the best player available everywhere else, but it would obviously be best if those BPA fit a need.
I think the reason why they're looking over all these different QBs is an indication that they're going to pick one, but they can't predict which ones will be available when they want to pick on in a later round, so they want to look at all the ones who might be available so they'll know who to pick when their pick arrives in the draft.
