say what you want, but he’s reliable, good vibes and provides a targeted skill off the bench that can be deployed when needed.
I don’t mind him being on the team next year. We need upgrades at our depth spots, but I actually think he contributes in a lot of ways that makes him a good fit here
For better and worse.
Maybe if Buddy was introduced to Curry sooner, we wouldn’t be where we were at. Jk.
Buddy makes a lot of mistakes but he also gets a lot of unnecessary hate as well. He’s an upgrade over current Klay and he’s bringing a lot of positive vibes/energy.
I’m okay with him getting that shot for 2OT, there was zero chance the Clippers were going to let Steph catch the inbound unless he was running towards his own hoop.
Did Looney miss time or just DNPs?
Ask him to spell connector and if he can’t without any help, trade him this summer , …
I am conflicted with buddy. I like the guy the vibes, his stamina, his lack of diva and his commitment to the franchise and the group. I don’t like how much Kerr uses him and the lineups he uses him in or when he puts him on primary scorers like Kawhi or his inconsistency. It’s a bit like Chris Paul, i didn’t expect to like him so much and simultaneously couldn’t wait for him to leave if only to stop Kerr using him in lineups that didn’t make sense
Buddy hield makes less than 10 mill on this team and is a new signing. Yeah, he’s been super inconsistent, is bad at defense and sometimes doesn’t play correctly in the offensive scheme. However, he’s been way more of a whipping boy than necessary. He’s contributed way more than people who’s been with the team multiple years
Buddy doesn’t have the highest BBIQ but he is open to being coached and I think he’ll continue to improve. I appreciate the effort and the vibes.
People shitting on this dude for not hitting the biggest shot of the season after being on the bench for 20+ minutes. He’s been good for us. I would honestly bring him back for cheaper next year if possible. Plus he’s a great locker room presence. I like Buddy.
