I would never trade up for a OL they are very unpredictable and the Texans have a bad history drafting OL.
I love all the fun discussions and theories these mock drafts generate, especially when we get these āemergencyā videos from Sethā¦ keep up the great work
Trade up for a backup tackle when we lost in the playoffs because of lack of receiver…. I don't wanna hear "but sacks" when there's no weapons that causes sacks too. Having no trust in your receivers cause you to hesitate and second guess and when 2 seconds is the difference in a sack or a completion you can't hesitate. Half the sacks weren't even on the line. We have competent receivers we're up in the 4th and not in those situations. Plus Bobby sucked and couldn't scheme the line against paper bags. A good OC can scheme around a bad or average line. You can't scheme UFL receivers into wins. If we weren't on the cusp of a Superbowl go ahead draft him. We have two major holes now that either keep us mediocre or push us over that edge.
Itās gotta be banks at 25 or trade back. Take 2 studded Oline in the 2nd/3rd with upside, day 1 starting potential. Thereās alottt of talent in the 2nd/3rd that the Texans could use or even need.
WAAAYY too rich even though I like Banks. Texans need cheap, cost-controlled starters moving forward and this rips into the surplus they just created. If Banks was a slam dunk at either OT or IOL, maybe. But there are reasons why heās OT4 and/or IOL4 depending on where you look.
Hell no…..too many picks lost……Forget about it….
NO TRADING UP IN THE 1ST! We can get Donovan Jackson without having to trade up and might even be able to trade down and get something else like more picks or even players.

Hey there, Texans' legend Seth Payne. It's obviously not up to us, but I would absolutely not trade up for anyone not named Tyler Warren or Colston Loveland in this draft, and I don't see that happening. I'd rather us trade back if anything.
It shouldnāt cost 2nd and 2 3rds to move up 6 spots. This guy is on high grade marijuana called Cush

Way too many assets for an unproven prospect
Seth you definitely need to look at the Alabama game his freshman year. I was nervous about him going up against Will and for most of the game Will was quiet. I believe Will made a couple of plays towards the end but for most of the day he was quiet.
I could see those trades if it were to Dallas for #12 pic if the right player was there.
