3. Correction: James Jones did not draft Deandre Ayton, he wasn't the GM at that draft. That was GM Ryan McDonough under Sarver who was in love with Ayton because he was a UofA Wildcats alumni.

4. Suns had the best record of the entire season ar 64-18 prior to KD. Problem with "superteams" is that you have a bunch of specialists and sacrifice depth. Every superteam that ever actually succeeded was well rounded. If you look at the team of Jordan-Pippen-Rodman. Jordan was the scorer, Rodman was D, and Pippen was everything else. They all still contribute to other categories, but they had their primary focus. All these other superteams are built on stars that all want their shine and then egos collide.

   Plus, coaches are becoming glorified scapegoats now. The players are overpaid divas who dont even want to listen to the coach, and the front office keeps making blunders that the coaches have to cover up on the floor.

29. Even as a Jordan fan, I wanted Barkley to have his ring in '93, because he was my second fave player after MJ. I was totally fine with the Suns winning it all back then. This organization is totally trash now, despite having KD and Booker. Beal is overrated, and a genius for having fleeced the Suns for his subpar performance since he's been there

Ishbia is not wrong when he says the team has enough talent … the mistake he's making is thinking Beal is talent … guy is a fraud and injury prone too … imagine getting paid 50 million and ending up with the WORST (not just top 5) Net rating in the entire NBA this season. When the Suns played without him they were slightly better but still missing some key pieces at center and power forward and the entire locker room morale seems poor. Next coach has a lot to do depending on which players they have … but with Beal they're not making the playoffs again.
