Kaplan signing is a surprise. Looking forward to Bump having a chance to make a difference for the Phantoms in the postseason!
Bump will probably have a far bigger impact than Luchanko who has been pretty bad so far for Phantoms (2 pts in 7 games with bad underlying metrics and lowest shot output on team).
He looks like an AHL 4th liner right now … meanwhile Buium is expected to step in and be a very good NHLer *right now*
Ill take if Luchanko is just a younger Cates at this point …
Oh man, I am legitimately surprised by Bump going the ATO route instead of burning an ELC year. He must really believe in their vision for him.
Kaplan is a long shot to make the team in a depth role but he has size and speed, and has put in a lot of work for the org.

Bump signing ATO means he’s AHL playoff eligible.
He would not be if he signed ELC.
