D-Wade shares convo he had with Bam during Miami 10 game losing streak this season: “Don’t let go of the rope.. I think Bam emerged as a leader. I think Bam is now the leader.. Tyler Herro is probably going to be the best player but I think Bam said I’m not going to let my guys on this season.” 🔥

  1. Where was that rope when he went 6-15 in a supposed must win game vs the Bulls? I’m so sick of these bums that the organization is trying to sell us. I guess if you didn’t grow up watching Wade you won’t know what you’re missing. DWade please come back and save this org.

  2. Didn’t Haslem say Bam would ask him for advice on how to lead cause he didn’t know how to? Imo, the best leaders are natural born leaders not timid guys who are pushed by an organization to lead.

  3. It’s the right mentality to have as players. As much as the fans would prefer we get our draft pick back and avoid getting smoked by the Cavs or C’s, the players are gonna go out there and try to win. They’re playing for their future contracts and pride within the organization. If we lose the play in and we get our pick back, I’m happy. If we make the playoffs, may as well get behind the team and hope for another miracle run.

  4. At the beginning of the season, I had reservations about Bam being the captain. I’ve always seen Jimmy as the one rallying the team and instilling confidence. Even when opponents targeted our players, Jimmy would step in and fight—Bam didn’t really do that before.

But ever since Jimmy left, I can confidently say Bam *is* the captain. Whenever the opposing team goes on a run, he’s the first to call a huddle to discuss the issues and get everyone on the same page. Furthermore, I forget which game it was—might’ve been against the Knicks—someone tried to start something with Duncan, and Bam immediately stepped in to defend him. That’s a totally different Bam from last year and even earlier this season. Seeing Bam not defend Duncan from Jaylen last year, irritated the fuck out of me. Bam, now stepping in and defend his players, is a great sign– this is leadership.

And now with what Wade said, Bam telling our guys to not let go of the rope.

    Bam is clearly the captain.

  5. I give Bam n Spo all the credit. Through the Jimmy stuff, the media, the horrible 10 game streak and the overall season being a mess, they continued to not throw anyone under the bus, stay positive as hell, and say “we fucked up, but we not giving up”.

To me, this being Spo’s most difficult season, makes it his best as a coach for me. Through all his fuck ups with timeouts, committing to Terry, losing streak, players turning the ball over, etc, he said it was on him to coach them through it.

  6. D wade is right yet again .People talking about draft picks don’t understand that you have to build winning habits and winning isn’t something you turn off an on .It’s important that alot of these guys learn to turn adversity around and they weren’t going to do it folding before the season was over .

  7. Wade not being part of the Heat organization is such a blunder by Pat and Mickey

dude clearly loves the Miami Heat and wants to be involved

  8. I love Bam, but Tobin’s video last night about mutual interest between KD and the Heat contained some insane stats about Bam late in “clutch” games. He’s simply a non-factor. That has to begin to change at least a little for DWade to have credibility here.
