  9. Seth jones is a great hockey player, but damn he’s too soft for this team. As a defenseman for the panthers I want to see him running people over.

    I’m really hoping my theory about him saving it for playoffs is true. But the dude looks like he went to a gentleman fork and knife school. Barky hits harder than he does.

  10. If we don’t take one game in Tampa off the rip, we don’t make it past the first. Ekblad is -12 against Tampa the last 2 years. He’s too low for the stretch pass and breakaways Tampa loves. We have to get momentum early for his return, we have to hurt them early and we cannot play soft. The hate being played hard. They get frustrated and start sending pucks across center ice. We need to give them some adversity.

  13. i think verhaeghe getting hot at the right time + samo’s gaffe on the first tampa goal by point means samo is not going to be trusted to be on the top line game one, but i still hope he gets a look (and that they have a short leash if carter goes cold)
