I’m assuming it’s because the only other playoff run where he was healthy was in 2021, where he was the first option on an overachieving Knicks team that got exposed in the playoffs. I don’t think he means it as a knock to the Knicks teams these past two seasons, but rather that he knew he couldn’t really “play for something” when injured.
I mean listen, he didn’t play with jb in the playoffs he was hurt, him and rj didn’t have a title shot. The wolves have a small chance but ant is easily the best player Randle has played with since what, Kobe?
Because he was unhealthy for the last 2 and the one before that he probably didn’t believe the team could make a title run. Mostly a non story.
The key word here is “chance.” He is not throwing shade at the Knicks. He was never healthy for the Knicks when with JB, so he probably felt like he never had a chance to give it his all for the city in the playoffs.
some y’all fans are mad sensitive 😂
Best of luck Julius…
Not wrong. We got as far as we deserved to the only year he was healthy and good.
i respect that.
Good luck to Julius!
They ain’t beating the Lakers though💸💸💸
That’s a pretty terrible way to paraphrase the actual quote from the reporter. He’s happy to be healthy enough to compete to his best ability and try to win a chip. I don’t read it as him saying he hasn’t been on contenders before.
Good for him man, as many said he was injured most of the times we went. Fans gave a lot of shit, if him and divo win id be happy
Context matters. This is his first playoff run where he’s actually fully fit and not playing through injuries since 2021. In 2021 it was his first time in playoffs, so he was inexperienced on top of playing with the most unbalanced roster of any playoff team in that period. Given that now he’ll have both fitness and experience on his side, I get what he means.
I’d be happy to see Julio and Danti make a run
Anyone upset at this is soft af.
❤️. Julius
Glad he’s finally healthy this year.
Duh. He’s never been on a tea, that could win it. I understand his optimism watching a guy like Ant every night
Makes sense
i think he just means he thinks the wolves have a chance to win it all
OP cutting out the word “chance” from their title is nasty
Health is the writer of timelines in the nba
He’s not wrong. He wasn’t part of the team last season. Before that we had 0 chance
We truly got robbed of our chance to see Juju and the Nova Knicks.

playoffs Julius will be scary….even if with his awkward ass roster around him
Who cares?
We shall see “playoffs” Randle perform
I am positive that the outcome of their last postseason were a whole lot different if he was healthy.
Wish Julius the best in the game playoffs. Give the Fakers hell!
