3rd and 4th downs, permanent CB makes the most sense to me. He’s an athletic freak and I think he could get that much done, and he’s an academic all-American too so I bet he’d be able to learn both positions at the NFL level too
🍆 💦
Joe schoen talked like he was less enthused about the thought of Travis hunter more than Abdul Carter, it makes sense, Abdul Carter would have more of a role than hunter on this roster, the cb and wr room got crowded, the next best time to draft a receiver in the 1st is like 2028 when Malik gets that big extension and slayton walks
They won’t play him on both sides. But the reason won’t be fear.
I mean I don’t know how much the Browns would care but maybe not tip them off that we want him…
Unless we want Carter and we’re playing 4D chess, but I really believe they prefer Hunter over Carter at this point.
I would play him on both sides of the ball if he is performing.
Why not maximize the player?
Honest question: how many elite WRs or CBs would ALSO be elite at the opposite position if they were actually allowed to play it
I’m not arguing he isn’t an elite talent, but like if Nabers also played WR and CB through HS and college, do we really feel he would so insanely good at WR, but not also probably pretty damn good at corner? Part of me feels a lot of this is just opportunity. You hear this a lot across sport too. An example would be LeBron. Dude probably could have been an elite NFL player too. I’m not really sure Hunter is so rare because he is elite at two positions. I think quite a few people could do it if given the chance or wanted to
Hopium is strong in this sub, he’s tiny and the first slant will be his last.

This is what I like to hear.
