One thing about Flacco is he’s a pro. He knows the right things to say to the media. I don’t think he will be as good as that magical end of the 23 season but he’s a guy that a rookie can learn from.

I’m not a fan of Pickett at all, but I think we’re an unserious team if we’re starting a 40 year old QB week one. Unless Flacco just completely smokes him in training camp of course….but I think the best case scenario for the success of this team is to go with youth at the position first and hope.that we can build something.
Flacco is the “in case of emergency” option in my opinion, and he’s likely only going to give you 6 games of decent play before the turnovers become untenable, and then where are we. I’d rather empower Kenny as our reclamation project and see how far that can go.
