I hate to say this but I’m afraid this team may not sniff .500 for the rest of the year
Dammit.
I’m tired of this grandpa
Pitching was excellent. Only gave up 4 each game in that bandbox. How on Earth the hitters couldn’t pull out one win is beyond me. I hate my life.

Well that’s an awful ending. Not a great series but the Yankees just went to the World Series last year, we knew it wasn’t going to be easy, onto Detroit next, ANOTHER fucking playoff team from last year. I can’t wait to get out of this stretch. They are good but luckily we are better (:
Man this sucks. Bring on Detroit. I want to Bryan some Tiggers
For once I’m not mad at MJ. That was a well hit ball and an RBI double some 9 times out of 10.
its hard to win baseball games when four runs is the most you can expect to get on any given day
Can we leave a couple of players in NY? Say we forgot
The silver lining is we already got the Yankee Stadium series out of the way, good riddance
Fucking shit am I right
How did this team win 8 games?
I’ve been thinking that .500 or one below going into the off-day would be a good sign. They need to win at least three for that to happen. So, you know, everything’s peachy.
On the bright side if we lose 90+ games this year maybe they’ll finally make some coaching changes
This Tigers series is about as big a series as you can have in April. Just not catching any breaks and there are black holes all over this lineup. Vinnie and Salvy gotta get it on track, or this one could start getting really ugly. Thank goodness the Central is so bad, but can’t get too far behind
I can’t wait for Hockey playoffs so I can be disappointed by another team for a change 😩
We haven’t scored more than 4 runs since April 4
Starting to feel like the bats aren’t going to wake up, this is just what they are
Well that’s rough.
Get ’em tomorrow
hopefully they’ll let Lynch pitch with a lead one of these days
Good God! Disappointing series.
Offense sucks and pitching needs to be excellent for us to win.
This felt exactly like the same team that faced the Yankees last year. Always a step behind
Yeah last year was definitely a fluke. Hopefully Bob gets to go to the playoffs one more time. Looks like he is gonna follow Mike Trout.
Being swept by the Yankees, it’s like putting on an old, comfy sweater. The Royals ball I know.
I mean this as kindly as possible, when do we send MJ down to work on his issues? This is looking bad and if he keeps swinging like this it’s just not going to work.
Welp, we all knew the start to this year’s schedule was gonna be tough. I still think we have a good team, but the offense is a big problem. The pitching staff for the most part is keeping games winnable, and I think (hope) we’ll see a turnaround soon 🤞
If this team had even an average rotation we’d be 7 games below .500 the pitching is the only reason the season isn’t over already
Those losses felt like watching the losses to them in the postseason last year, just not getting the ball in play while they have one or two good innings and squeak by us.
Starting pitching is good, back order of the bullpen is good, if the lineup can at least keep improving…
there’s so much ball left to play, anything can happen 🤷🏻♂️

Our offense has been disappointing lately. It doesn’t help that we have dead weight like MJ. At this point, giving him more at bats isn’t benefiting anyone but the opponent. The offense needs to right the ship. Go Royals.
Cool first sweep is out of the way early
