I confess I was a Maye believer. In my defense, I saw Maye as a guy with a higher ceiling but who needed more time to develop because I WASNT ASSUMING WE WERE GOING TO THE NFCCG THIS YEAR
I’ve always wanted JD, I used to love looking at his LSU games and when we drafted him I was jumping through the roof! 😁
However, I was a little nervous about his size, but he proved me wrong other than his rib injury last year. So let’s hope that our improved OL can’t keep him upright a lot more this year!
My only opinion before the draft was that I didn’t know shit about anything, and JDs size and running would stress me out. On both points, I was totally correct
Couldn’t even come on this subreddit pre-draft last year because it was so heavily Maye biased
All I wanted was 5 it was no other choices in my eyes
