Tbh I wouldn’t be surprised if we drafted a running back in the 2nd-4th rounds AND resigned Chubb. Ford does not fill me with confidence as RB1
An article having the word “could” in the title….
>“Depending on how the draft shakes out and where Chubb stands when it’s over, the Browns might sign him soon after,” Cabot
After the draft…
Let it be today
If you care about Nick Chubb, his best opportunity would be somewhere else. He’s not going to get anything but spot situations in Cleveland and basically be around as a locker room vet/fan favorite mascot, but he’s no longer a RB1 guy and he’s not a 3rd down back at all, he doesn’t fit the Browns now.
It’s better for him and the Browns to move on. That’s reality. Browns care for him enough that if nobody else will sign him, they will just so he doesn’t have to go out like that, but if he’s trying to rebuild his career, it won’t and can’t happen in Cleveland. He would be given much bigger opportunities elsewhere.
So-called insider speculates about when Browns “might” sign him and this becomes news somehow?
I know we can’t really afford to make a luxury pick at 33, but Henderson and Chubb together would be absolutely perfect.
I swear on everything I don’t stan every Ohio State prospect.
I wish they would show some loyalty and just get it done instead of this. They showed 4 all the loyalty but treat chubb and flacco like the girlfriend you call at bar closing time after you didn’t find anyone else.
I’d draft Judkins if possible (I think he runs hard like Kareem Hunt). I love Henderson but his health scares me. I’ve always thought that Ford was nothing special
