Was to be expected, but if anything it might kick up a new round of public response about the use of taxpayer money. And now, all attention turns to whether FJF can bridge the gap between $380 million and the estimated $1.75 (and possibly rising) billion.
An interesting quote from the article from Steve Hill (President and CEO of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority and Chair of the Las Vegas Stadium Authority):
"There's been chatter around whether the Fishers had the ability to do it. I don't, frankly, think anybody seriously questioned that," Hill said. "We were able to look, in detail, at their ability to do it. It is clearly there and that will be expressed by them and third parties at one of the next two future meetings."
When we asked if financial documents will be made public to show the money is there, Hill said no because the documents "are confidential."
So all eyes on the supposed groundbreaking in June (fka April), because it's put up or shut up time.

Maybe there should be someone questioning if he is or will pay for it. I can’t see a reason to keep it confidential either(other than it shows that he can’t pay for it)
If the public tax payers are footing the bill against their will, why does the ‘billionaires’ ability to perform confidential…?
So sick of billionaire protections.
