NHL playoffs don’t feel right unless everyone else has some stupid reason to hate Vegas. They needed something new this year with no Stone LTIR trip
I just lean into it. They will never accept that Vegas has become a dream destination for many star players and coaches, has a strong development system, a front office that runs circles everyone else in the league, and an arena that is constantly sold out.
To them the Knights’ success will always be due to being gifted a team, golden refs, cap circumvention, dirty players, bettmans favorites, etc.
It’s just a mechanism for them to cope with the fact that their own favorite franchise has existed for decades and can’t even make the playoffs consistently.
