Chris Bosh Appreciation Post. IDGAF what SAS or Rich Paul says. Bosh as our Big Three Over Carmelo Was the Right Call — Melo Was Never a Fit. Bosh Sacrificed for Rings — Melo Never Would.

We wouldn’t have won a single ring if Carmelo had been part of the Big Three instead of Bosh.
**Melo was never going to sacrifice his game for the team the way Bosh did — period.**
Bosh was our stretched 4/5. And under Spo, revolutionized his position.

People forget bosh was the raptors best player by a mile before he came to the heat dude was a seriously good player
i mean Melo wouldve definitely have been the 3rd..if he was a FA. He didnt have the same contract length as the rest of the draft class
Anyone that says Carmelo over Bosh for the Heat’s Big 3 doesn’t know anything about basketball.
Bosh was the number one on the Raps. Dude is legit.
He’s on of my favorite Heat players ever. He’s our Velocitaptor, you mess with him, you mess with us
Chris Bosh was so valuable to this team, he sacrificed, he made winning plays, he put it all on the line and received so much heat (no pun intended) when we lost. Never let it get him down, was a great competitor and deserves to be a hall of famer.
Bosh literally set the framework for modern defensive big men. CB walked so Bam and Mobley could run.
Mmm respect to Bosh of course, part of one of the most clutch sequences in finals history. But Melo would’ve ate in Miami too. He would’ve been a fit off chemistry alone
Thank you for this post.
Bosh is a Hall of Famer. Bosh was one of the top players in the league when he came here. Bosh was instrumental to the championships. The insecurity is so apparent with this revisionist history. It reminds me of the comments earlier by certain people how the Heat didn’t have enough in 2011 when the Big Three got together. No, there was enough. There were other reasons for the 2011 loss that some folks don’t want people to be reminded of. Regardless, I will not accept any Bosh slander. The Velociraptor was one of the most skilled big men of all time. I still marvel on his ability to completely alter his game to give us the best chance to win. I remember how I felt when he had to retire from the blood clots. He deserves a lot more credit than he gets.
Bron in 2011 is why they didn’t get 3 rings. 2014 A/C incident aside the Spurs were unstoppable that series. Melo does nothing to help either of those things.
It was supposed to be the 4 of them you dolt. Stop trying to rewrite history.
At your service, my King.
Melo was such a stat-padding loser. Dude made it out of the first round like once in his entire career.
What’s being said about Bosh?
Yea rich tripping bosh still made 2 all star teams for a reason he was just as big of a defensive presence as Lebron was and he scored high volume when we needed number 1 in the rafters
I remember reading throughout the years some people say Miami would’ve won the 2011 ring based on purely fire power from Melo/Lebron/Wade trio — doubtful after that year though.
But yeah Bosh was definitely the better choice and fit for the Heatles.
LIKE A BOSH!
Carmelo wasn’t even an option. He wasn’t a free agent cause he had a longer contract.
Second of all it was Lebron as the 3rd man to join. Heat were going to have Wade/Bosh regardless and could have been a championship team in their own right.
Heat only clicked when they went to small ball with Bosh at center. Could you imagine how dreadful the defense would be with no Bosh but Melo instead? Way too much overlap with Wade/Lebron/Melo. They’d be lucky to get one ring.
Rebound BOSH back out to Allen his 3 pointer BANG!!
Melo’s game didn’t transition to winning basketball like Bosh’s. The Heat aimed for championships, while Melo focused on his stats and found a fit in New York, where the goal was balling, not titles. Both teams achieved what they wanted: Miami won, and the Knicks got to watch Melo’s offense.
