That’s another “major league” baseball game.
4-14
Sell (more of) the team
Hell of a game boys. You really gave it your all today
Just sell the team. Then I won’t be forced to listen to this. I have to live with a sadist who insists on listening to their games.
I hate this shit
Just relegate this team to AAA
Lol
Love that we can lose before my day at work is even over. Doesn’t completely ruin my evening this way
Just brutal. It’s going to be a long year.
I am really questioning why I am watching this team this year and it’s only April. It’s very clear that Jerry Reinsdorf does not intend to field a competitive baseball team in the near future. I truly do not believe they are making any decisions based on competing in the next 5 years. I think that there is something behind the scenes happening with him and Ishbia, and I assume it is real estate related. My guess is that Jerry is spearheading the move to the near Southside and Ishbia will purchase the team from him once the stadium is complete. It would make sense for the real estate side of things that Jerry is involved in and him needing to sell before he dies.
Because of this, and the debt that they seemingly have, I do not think they are going to attempt to field any sort of major league team until the stadium is built. Which means any prospects they develop will be traded for other prospects. They will not pay any free agents to play for the Sox and they are going to do every service time manipulation in the books for every player, regardless of the quality of their play.
This is a dark time to be a White Sox fan. I can see them breaking the record for losses this year, next year, pretty much every year until the stadium deal is complete.
Lenyn got a pair of hits. I have no other notes.
Lenyn got a pair of hits. I have no other notes or nice things to say.
Saw the White Sox were a Jeopardy question yesterday about the record we broke last year.
Might do a repeat!
It’s just beyond pathetic
Worse than last year. Putrid core and contaminating the young guys coming up. Great recipe!!! At the very least, these games are hurting JRs pocket. Fuck him, can’t wait until he sells the team or the other thing.
Today is a good day to yell at God
Gotta get more than 4 hits off a guy like Sears. The offense is nonexistent and you can’t blame the cold when the A’s are scoring 8. It feels like there is no plan beyond “hope the prospects know how to hit when they get here”
We were so close to dominating the A’s this series, I bet they’re breathing a sigh of relief leaving town..
What utter dogshit.
I haven’t watched a single inning of whitesox baseball this year and somehow I still feel like my time is being wasted even just checking these post game threads!
You know things are rough when even after looking at the current state of the Phoenix Suns I’m still fully on board with the Ishbias taking over,
Hey don’t be so hard on them. The __________ Athletics are primed to win the World Series this year.
Keep giving Jerry money everyone!
That run differential was looking almost good before the A’s series…
😴😴😴😴😴
Could turn things around with our next opponent at least. The Red Sox invent ways to lose games. The trip to Boston could be coming at the perfect time.
Yeah imma just stick to going to Gary Railcat games. At least they can actually rally a mf comeback!
I know hindsight is 20/20, but damn seeing all the players who were picked after Vaughn (#3) in the 2019 draft makes me want to throw myself in front of a train…
What was the attendance for this game? Thursday day game against a shitty franchise in April is not optimal for attendance
6 players under a .200 batting average is wild. Getz is a puppet.
