The NASCAR Cup Series is off for Easter weekend; Kyle Larson is heading to Knoxville Raceway
This weekend, the NASCAR Cup Series has a rare off-weekend. No race is on the schedule for Sunday as it’s Easter weekend.
The NASCAR Xfinity Series and Truck Series will both race at Rockingham Speedway. It marks the first NASCAR race at the North Carolina track in over a decade.
Meanwhile, Kyle Larson is jumping behind the wheel of a dirt sprint car. He’s on the entry list for the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series event at Knoxville Raceway.
It will be the season opener at the Knoxville, Iowa dirt track. Two World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series features are on deck, one on Friday and another on Saturday paying $12,000 to each winner.
A large entry list is expected for this weekend’s event as drivers tune for the Knoxville Nationals later this season. The World of Outlaws will be back at Knoxville Raceway just one more time on June 13-14 ahead of the Nationals.
The famed Knoxville Nationals is set for August 6-9.
