  1. I saw somewhere that Doug Flutie is feeling stronger and leaner these days he's able to get more out of his workouts and finish drives! Vikings should TOTALLY call him!

  2. I used to like Rodgers.. but after this FA and his conflict with my team has made me despise the dude. Bro is a solid 85 but thinks he's a 99. So glad we passed on him.

  3. Screw you Rogers! The Vikings, Steelers, Jets, & every other NFL team is better off with our you!
Nobody has to pay $40M.+ per to know that you're washed!
Deal with those "personal" issues (like rehab) & the NFL will continue to do just fine without you!

  4. It was a bad look for him to trash a team and brand new head coach in public like that. Especially when you're currently unemployed

  5. I don't want Rodgers on our team, but I also don't think he was contradicting what KoC said. He probably reached out to the Vikings, but that doesn't mean he "pitched" anything to them either. I felt like Rodgers was trying to shut down these narratives that he did this or did that when it's coming from ppl who have no idea wtf they are talking about. All these beat writers are just throwing mindless darts and hoping something sticks.

I have no doubt that he talked to KoC to see what they were feeling and what plans they had going forward. I'm sure Kwesi and KoC had a talk about it and made the best decision for the team. I would expect both parties to do exactly what they did and no ultimatums or "pitches" were discussed. Just an aging, free agent QB trying to see where he stands with an organization going in the right direction and seeing if there is a place at the table for himself.

  6. Take Rodgers, if he doesnt pan out, put McCarthy in. Very simple solution.. You need two QBs anyway and just maybe he will pull a "Farve" who took the Vikings to semi finals…

  7. I say sign Rodgers for $10 million! We're built to win now!!
But if the Vikings are going with JJ I'm fine with that too.
But let's not be delusional! The Vikings are not going to the SB if we start JJ!
LET ME GUESS JJ'S GOING TO BE THE FIRST ROOKIE QUARTERBACK TO EVER GO TO THE SUPER BOWL AND WIN IT! NO CHANCE THATS HAPPENING! JUST ENJOY THE SEASON FOR WHAT IT IS! HOPEFULLY WE CAN AT LEAST MAKE THE PLAYOFFS WITH A ROOKIE. THATS DEFINITELY POSSIBLE!

  8. I think there's a difference between "reaching out" to the Vikings and "pitching" to the Vikings which is what the Athletic have been running with recently. They're the ones spinning lies.

  9. With the way Rodgers treated LaFleur in Green Bay, I don't want him to run over another offensive-minded HC. And seeing what happened with him and a defensive-minded HC such as Saleh and Ulbrich, Tomlin might not want his crap either. We all know that Glenn didn't need Rodger's sh*t in NY going forward.
