  1. Trade 23 and 87 for 39 and 41 with Chicago. 🤮 Draft Higgins and Bech with those two picks and the best Edge/DI/CB with pick 54. Hopefully, trade Jaire and Doubs to add more picks in the late 3rd/4th to address defensive depth. Would also try to add another WR in the 6th who's just a deep threat.

  2. The Packers don't "have" to draft a receiver. The Packers are fully capable of running a strong passing offense with what they've got provided the coaching solves the DROPS issue with Wicks and Reed (Doubs is somewhat in that realm too). The Packers are gearing up to go run-heavy to emulate a Philadelphia Eagles style run/pass balance, but using their own 49ers style of passing plays. The Packers can draft a Christian Watson clone in the 3rd Round of the upcoming draft rather easily. There are several receivers who should be available who are tall and fast and can jump-ball for the catch. You have Savion Williams, Tory Horton and my favorite, Dont'e Thornton. Thornton is 6-5" 214, runs a 4.3 fourty. He's a Watson clone for sure. Go look at Thornton's highlight videos. His routes that he has highlights on look EXACTLY like Christian Watson highlights for the Packers. His body-type and speed look identical too. Dont'e would plug right in without missing anything.

When you have receivers like this available in the 3rd round it's a no-brainer that you DON'T burn a 1st or 2nd on a receiver. This draft is DEEP at WR and there are a ton of options at the lower Top-100 picks in the draft. So, again, the Packers don't 'need' a WR at all, but could definitely use a Watson-like tall/speedy outside receiver. Could the Packers utilize a 'star' receiver? Sure, any team could. Will a 'star' receiver make the passing offense better than what the Packers can be if the coaches fixed the drops issue? I actually don't think it would matter at that point because the Packers existing receivers got open collectively at a high rate, but dropped passes that killed drives. Fix that and all the issues disappear instantly.

  3. Hey Peter, I’m planning on going to the draft and would to say hello, but can you let us know where you’re going to be so we a find you amongst the mass of humanity?

  4. The Packers biggest weakness on offense last year was that their receivers weren’t winning their 1 on 1 battles and weren’t getting open. They absolutely need to draft a receiver early in the draft.

  5. The Green Bay Packers have a pressing need at wide receiver with Christian Watson set to miss at least half of the season while recovering from a torn ACL. You could argue they’d still have an immediate at wide receiver even if Christian Watson were healthy. The Green Bay Packers have a handful of solid role players at their wide receiver position, and some of them need to catch the ball far more consistently to retain that title, but an alpha would help Jordan Love and their passing game even if Brian Gutekunst have said that 1 player dominating targets doesn’t historically bode well when it comes to the playoffs. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

  6. McMillan will be long gone by 15… no way Gutey gives up that kind of capital to move up that far. Also, Egbuka is too risky, not really an X or Z. Best bet is take Higgings at 31 (trade down with eager KC who wants to move up).

  7. I HATE the "we need to add bodies" to a position group just cause some of them will b FA's after the season… By saying that, youre implying that any "body/player" will do… Still need to be highly strategic. And also sick of these athletic and physical "thresholds" the packers have… Watch the film!!! If a guy can play and is thorough at his job, grab him!!! These measurables convos and that being the be all end all is ABSURD!!!

  8. The edge from georgia, williams, was NOT even a productive collgiate player… But because he's gifted athletically, he's suddenly a top 10 ranked player!!! To me, its a load of crap! LVN is a prime example of recent

  9. One last thing. The packers are great about drafting for the future but it's time to draft some guys for the NOW. We are in a championship window right now and those windows dont stay open long in the NFL

  10. Need a non injury prone wr1 then we will be able to tackle the other positions like linebackers, lineman, linebackers a few others and we will be set, want to be better than mediocre this season. I feel like we can go pretty far. Just my thoughts.

  11. They trade waaaay up and get Travis Hunter resulting the Town of Green Bay to set ablaze 🔥 along with Lambeu Feild…The citizens continuously drink beers to save the city putting out the flames with the # 1 🟡 🧀

  12. I have a feeling doubs or wicks is gonna step up. Doubs had some personal issues, think he's too emotional but he's our best hands guy imo. Then there's wicks and if he improves on catching the way D.Adams did over the first couple years, wicks will be a number 1. Hard to speculate if anyone in the draft can elevate the wr room more than anyone on the roster already. Maybe McMillan but I think he's lanky without much physicality for a physical type wr. Golden or Higgins are probably the best wr's to contribute year 1.
