Ryan McLeod: “I love it here”

  1. fuckkkk imagine how much he’d love a playoff atmosphere here.

IS IT NEXT SEASON YET? I BELIEVE.

  2. McLeod blew me away this season. He was honestly great. Players catch a lot of shit on this team but McLeod should hear none of it. Please throw the bag at him.

  3. I’m encouraged that a guy like Zucker, who could have chased FA, wants to be here, and same goes for McLeod liking it here; hopefully he’s signed soon.

Mitts for Byram and Savoie for McLeod look like good trades. I actually think we might have also found a second pair RHD in JBD while swapping Cozens for Norris.

(FWIW, Savoie has 2g and 7a and is plus 0 in his last 16 AHL games. For comparison, Ostlund was at 1.25 ppg in his last 24 games before his call up).

  4. I love his game and he just exudes enthusiasm. Dude loves hockey. That move to make the pass on the Quinn goal last night knocked me dead, too.

  5. A lot of players like playing in Buffalo, it’s getting them here to find that out that is the hard part

  6. Love to hear it! SIGN HIM now & PAY HIM!! I absolutely loved having him this year and so damn glad he got 20 goals! 👏🏻👏🏻 I think he and Zucker can really help with the culture… if guys that COULD leave because they’ve bumped their value CHOOSe to stay, thats such a positive message to us as fans and the league as a whole

  7. It’s wild how many forwards have 20 plus goal potential on this team, they have to win next year don’t they?!! No less than 9 guys have a shot to hit 20 next year and realistically 6 are locks to hit that idk how many is average but it seems like D should be the focus on offseason building the goals are there already.

  8. He was finally given the chance to play in a top 6 role and ran with it. Dude is happy he’s actually being appreciated. Honestly I like him more than Byram. It wasn’t a “give me minutes and I’ll show you” it was show up, work hard and earn the minutes. Honestly speaking taking time to reflect on the team… If we keep McLeod I’m not going to be upset if we flip Byram for someone else. So long as it isn’t Simon Nemec. We need a defenseman ready for top pairing minutes and he still needs some time to learn

  9. One of the few examples you can cite that the front office knows what they’re doing.
