  1. The Canes finished the season with 2 less goals than the Leafs this season, finishing 10th in the league. Their scoring isn’t as bad as it’s made out to be, but they can get goalied as they are a score by committee team, and don’t have that sniper some other teams have.

  2. Shayne Ghostisbeher is probably going to play over Scott Morrow lol

Nadeau, Nikishin, and Morrow are going to be back-up defensemen depending on who gets injured

  3. Jesse once again picking against the Canes smh. In all seriousness you have Rod who knows how to get out of Round 1 vs Sheldon. Let’s see if it was cursed or coaching

  4. Hurricanes have scoring depth, defensive depth, and they have two goalies who can fill in for eachother when one goes cold.

Devils have been mediocre since January and only have 3rd in the metro because all the teams beneath them were even more disappointing

    Hurricanes in 5

  5. Appreciate the pronunciation corrections for Bratter 😅😌 I think Carolina takes it in 6 but I’m hoping my Devs can squeak through round 1 at least

  6. I think this series is way more of a coin flip than most people are giving it credit for. I'm a devils fan so obviously I'm hoping they win, but either way I think this series goes at least 6

  7. Canes in 5. They win the first two at home, Jersey wins game 3 at home and then the Canes take over the final two. Having Slavin on the ice is like having a second goaltender playing. Carrier has come back and will be back with Staal and Martinook, making that shutdown line one of the most frustrating to play against. I also feel like Taylor Hall is about to go off – he stated in a recent interview that he is tired of moving so he will come out rolling. Also, Robinson and Roslavic are not given enough credit for what they have done this year – career highs for both players – and this may be Burns last chance at a cup since the Canes have Morrow and Nikishin ready for prime time. Freddy and Koochie play much better in high-stakes games and tend to whiff against bottom feeding teams, and since Freddy is injury-prone, this may be his last chance at a cup with a serious contender. And, you have one of the top defensive forward lines in the NHL with Aho-Jarvis-Blake. Stanky and Janky has added depth scoring to their bottom six and KK is another big body that isnt afraid to throw the body around along with Svech.

  8. actually Keefe been more on the defensive than open this year which is why NJ is having a down year even with jack they were falling after xmas break. When will the hype stop on the canes they will never make SCF with Rod, You forgot the small RHD in Casey who should be a RW if Nj struggles to score.

  9. I have Devils in 7, but that's because they were my bet to make the final at the start of the season and I can still feasibly win money… Do I really think they can make it… They've probably been the quietest team to make the postseason in the East. But I also think they could be that sleeper team that enters with no fanfare and go deep.

  10. canes in 5. starting at home ice is huge with one of the best home records in the league, and i think they take one on the road and finish it off at home.
