16. So reminiscent of 2024. Good (usually) starting pitching. Good (usually) offense. Lousy relief pitching. Phils need to get some reliable relief pitchers besides Strahm and Alvarado. The rest of the bullpen (especially Romano and Kerkering) look like they are getting paid by the opposing team. I mean…how do you go into the 9th inning (against the Marlins!?!) with a 7 run lead and only win by 1?

26. Just another example of how Dombrowski and Thomson both have to go! Dombrowski lets Jeff Hoffman walk, and brings in a feeble reject like Romano. If that weren't bad enough, already early in the season, Thomson ( aka Danny Ozark 2.0) shows again that he has no ability to make decisions on pitching. He lacks complete understanding of when to insert a pitcher, or worse, when to pull them. It's been like this since he has taken over as manager, and it has cost the Phillies the World Series.

28. Under my breath I was calling for Thompson's job. Why in the world would you leave Romano in the game after giving up a 3r HR to the Marlins after throwing only 5 pitches. No outs. He's faced his mandatory 3 batters, he obviously didn't have IT. Get him off the mound and bring someone else in to pitch. NO! He went from 11-4 to 11-7, and was allowed to go to 11-10. Mismanagement!!

43. Romano should be on a bus to Reading or Allentown for a DFA. He had one objective: get 3 outs. He failed. No excuse for that level of play at the Major League level.
