There is a case to be made that picks 3-8 are all in the same tier. It’s not too hard to imagine that Kon, Tre or Jase immediately translate to getting NBA buckets and win ROY. Ace, VJ, and Kham are each freaks with longer term boom/bust potential. 6 isn’t the worst spot. It seems to me that Ace would be #3 for Dawkins. He fits the profile of “positional length, versatility, and needs patient development”. But If the wiz don’t get #3, I don’t think it’s a given that Ace goes at 3.
As a Rutgers fan Bailey or Harper to Philly would be my personal nightmare. I’m fine if we don’t end up with them (although they’re awesome players), just want them to go anywhere but there.
