  31. Some poet here once told me that the Giants were like the brother that you’d always fight with and try to get into trouble. Rivals, but respected. The *trashtros were the asshole neighbor who stole your bike and then would try to fight you when you tried to get it back. You and your brother will team up to fight them, then go back to fighting each other. Their version was much more eloquent than mine. It was absolute poetry.

  32. Went to the Angels/Giants game today. (Deadly boring.)

    Giants were up 4-1 going into the bottom of the 9th and managed to give up four runs and lose.

    This will always make me happy.

    My Giants-loving husband — not so much.
