“I wasn’t watching that play. I knew he got thrown out at second. I didn’t see it until this morning” I thought this was an odd comment so I had to check the replay. He’s right in view watching the whole thing standing alone on the top step.

I mean it is possible he is looking at the ball and misses it maybe?

But there is no chance no one in the dugout said anything to him about it.

  2. Far be it from me to defend Snitker,  but he’s watching where the ball is going to hit in the outfield, instead of what the runner is doing on the base-path.

  3. Thanks for this. I thought it was funky when I heard him say that.

This man making this situation so much worse. Just be straight up. Take ownership of your faults, instead of being disingenuous.

Silver lining: Our MVP is still a few(?) weeks away from joining the team, so hopefully things cool down by then. This is a terrible look for Snit though (pun not intended)

  4. Snit’s reply is a typical PR response to this type of situation. “I haven’t seen that headline” is a standard response you hear from politicians these days when they’re asked an uncomfortable question by a reporter.

It seems the Braves PR folks gave Snit some advice on what to say, and it’s backfiring horribly.

  5. Yea Snitker thought it was probably gone too and then once he realized wtf happened it was just a giant clusterfuck

  6. What you don’t know is that the Men In Black erased his memory from the night before.

  7. Oh no… Don’t tell me Atlanta is going to pull Dallas Mavericks move and run off their generational player.

I don’t think I could handle that again lol. Damn

  8. i forgot how much of a dumpster fire braves reddit is, thanks for the reminder

  9. lol some of y’all trippin’ over something that’s……… frankly not a big deal

i betcha it doesn’t happened again………….. did Ronald ever do his again?

  10. I’m getting on the Snit-needs-to-go train. The “aw shucks” attitude when it comes to the team not performing has gotten ridiculous and now it seems like he’s genuinely checked TF out

  11. I wonder if maybe he pulled Acuña because he was 19 at the time. “Nip bad habits in the bud” kinda thing. I’ve no idea, just trying to make sense of the discrepancy.

  12. Honestly, I wish Snit just came out and said, “Yea I made a mistake” and just moved on. Doubling down when we got the receipts is really going to make it difficult to get the support of both the team and the fanbase after this. I’d really like to just enjoy the fact that we swept a team and have some momentum finally going in the right direction. Instead, we got this shit.

  13. Bro. We’re not a 40 games over .500 team anymore. Snit’s gonna protect any single ounce of production he can get for this team. This is exactly what I would want out of a manager.

  14. I’m sorry but Snits comments were pretty atrocious. You’ve been in baseball 40+ years, you know what a double looks like. Like if he actually didn’t see that, it makes you think just what exactly are you fucking doing in the dugout? Just straight up terrible.

  15. The next question from the media needs to be, “Snit, Have you had a stroke?”

  16. I mean Snit is yawning everytime the camera cuts to him so he very well may have been day dreaming

  17. My problem is that he made multiple excuses. First it was the Acuna situation “wasn’t the same situation” (when it absolutely was). Then he made a comment about how Kel always hustles, so this was out of character for him. Then he flat out said he didn’t even see it until today, which is pretty sad if true. He also sounded pretty defensive with the reporter who asked him. Like, how dare him for asking. I just hate how he handled this whole thing.

  18. I am not saying Kelenic deserves this but the baller GM best for the franchise “I’m the captain of this ship” move is for AA to trade Kelenic right now.

  19. Both those pictures show Kelenic after he passed first though, not when he was slow walking out of the box. Is there any video of where Snitker was watching at the start?
