[Acee] Luis Arraez will be placed on the 7-day IL. He is in the concussion protocol.

  1. Literally a two man offense of Manny and tatis atm with occasional showings from Xander and sheets. Need Merrill back asap

  2. This is good news all things considered. Obvious concussion, but seems like he avoided neck injury, facial fractures, etc.

    Could’ve been so much worse.

  3. Knew it was likely and it’s good to be careful with him, but damn the lineup going to be so thin now.

I’m not even sure who we will call up to replace him. Campy and Mason McCoy are the only position players left on the 40 man still in the minors.

  4. Sheets for Arraez in the meantime, i dont give three fucks if its a lefty or righty or pitching with his dick. Send Yuli to Escondido to sell cars and play Tirso. Pray that top 4 of rotation cooks and lets see what happens

  5. Glad he gets some time to rest and be monitored. That’s most important! But please hurry back, Merrill and Cronenworth! Tatis, just need you to score all the runs, tysm

  6. I’ll happily take a 7-day IL from him, more if he needs it. We’re struggling, but maybe we can just keep the ship afloat for a week or two and get Arraez and Merril back to go on another tear.

Honestly, I tuned in just after it happened. A solid 2 minutes of 17 people crowded around him, and no movement from him- it looked like he was dead. So I’m happy with alive and moving, very happy with possibly back in a week.

  7. why cant we have a healthy season. why.

meanwhile everyone else in our division is on a tear and fully healthy.

    FUCK

    – Merrill
    – Jakey
    – Lockridge
    – Arraez
    – dare i say Heyward?

    ^^^
    pain.

  8. It’s good the FO takes this serious. Last thing we need is what happened to guys like Rizzo. That concussion messed him up for months. Might have been avoidable if the Yankees were all over it early on.

  9. Glad this is all he came away with from that scare tbh, rest up Luis! Now we really get to find out who deserves reps on the real squad once all the starters start to return. Gonzales, Ornelas, Sheets, and Wade have a chance to prove they are worth a roster spot moving forward now. Yuli can prove that he should be fired into the sun. It feels like round 2 of Spring training rn.

  10. 7 days is best case scenario imo. Glad he’s taking some time. Some rest and hopefully he can catch the end of the homestand

  11. In 5 years our lineups for this series could be hilarious:

    Tatis RF
    Bogaerts SS
    Machado 3B
    Sheets DH
    Iglesias 2B
    Gonzalez LF
    Gurriell 1B
    Wade CF
    Diaz C

  12. I hit my head really hard at the playground with my daughter and then hit in the same place about two weeks later (walking into monkey bars)

I was saying the wrong words, it hurt my head to do math, and my inhibitions were greatly diminished.

I didn’t even lose consciousness or get hit THAT hard and I was noticeably impaired for over a week. Maybe two before I started to feel myself.

I hope Luis takes all the time it takes to feel like himself again

  13. We have the best record in MLB without Merrill, Cronenworth, Darvish and Musgrove.

We’re being tested hard. Passing so far.

Oh, gotta add: Tatis is the baddest ass to ever play pro sports.

Double gotta add: I fucking hate the Dodgers.

  14. Best thing for him. No need to rush him back.

Can’t wait for all the guys to be healthy again.
