He didn’t say we won’t draft another competitor, just that they will compete for the spot. He’s always overly diplomatic like that
Pray Kingsley wins lol
Frank Caliendo will be impersonating Kingsley as well. So we really have 3 options at LG
Caliendo was absolute trash. Kingsley has to beat him out right? Right…….?
uh oh
Will Kingsley win? Almost certainly. Will Kingsley be Joe Thuney? Most likely not. Does Kingsley still have a lot of upside at the position? Absolutely.
Will miss you, Joe. Your consistency will not be forgotten and when all is said and done I hope to see you in the chiefs hall of honor

Suamataia really struggled to even get his hands on guys, which obviously is a terrible sign but playing guard makes it a lot more feasible for him to improve enough to be playable in the NFL. It’s easier to connect your punch and engage your block when you’re operating in a smaller playing space, that’s why you put offensive linemen with short arms at guard.
The way we construct and handle the O-line is just bizarre
I would love to see Reid and the Chiefs draft Grey Zabel the dude is a stud.
I think Kingsley will win the job.
So we have to hope to God Kingsley wins that competition.
Also, I imagine Nourzad will compete too.
water is wet
Well that’s kingsley’s job to lose…
Man we are definitely starved for news if we are reading this.
Reid confirms that the Chiefs are looking into the legality of stacking bricks on a Roomba for left guard this season.
Kingsley looked absolutely lost last year
Ill say this about that.. if Caliendo is starting in sept then Kingsleys a bust and the Oline is cooked
And yet I got told by a bunch of yall it wouldn’t ve smart to draft Zabel or Booker if they’re still on the board at 31…
I get that you don’t give up on a 2nd round pick before his sophomore season but if they can’t find a starting LT and there is a potential All Pro left guard avail at 31 i wouldn’t be mad at that pick. Don’t roll the dice on both left positions with Moore and two unproven guys. Because we already know Caliendo ain’t it. And if Kingsley ain’t either, we are back in the shit pot.
I’m so confused?
How Caliendo hasn’t been cut following his SB performance is mystifying to me. He is literally horrible.
