Jaren hasn’t done enough in the playoffs to deserve that money.
We won’t get a better player than Jaren out of free agency.
Ja will probably demand a trade if we go into rebuild mode.
We may never get a player like Ja again.
We are at a crux. The championship window may have opened and closed in a matter of months.
I wish someone other than Kleiman was making these decisions.
If Jaren cares more about trying to win with us he’ll sign a cheaper deal but that’s very rare these days
Look I know this is a bit first-takey but I really do mean it. If I see Jaren Jackson Jr at another goddamn Paris fashion show this summer I’ll know we’re not serious.
Love the guy personally, but your bag can not be this limited after 7 offseasons and with all the talent you have. Be serious, or we might as well stop getting our hopes up.
No more podcasts saying how badly you want to win, and how you all put in the work to get better, and how this loss humbled you.. then come back with the same spin move, same letting smaller players keep you out of the paint, same 5 rebounds.

Doing the math (it’s a lot of math), I think we could realistically turn Jaren, Clarke, Santi, Kennard, Wells, and Jitty into Myles Turner, Jonathan Kuminga, Isaiah Stewart, Ausar Thompson, and Marcus Sasser, while staying at the same draft capital situation that we’re currently in. I would do that, honestly. I think it’s the only way to upgrade this team in a way that needs to happen.
Jaren isn’t a BIG. He’s just a tall MF just like KD.
Jaren sucks as a big. He’d be better off at SF.
They literally turned Luke, a shooter, into a goddamn PG and now he barely shoots. Now he just looks to make plays.
Same with Bane. He went from shooter to slasher.
Maybe turning Jaren into a SF won’t be such a bad idea.
Let Edey, Bagley & Huff handle the dirty work with rebounding. Let Ja, Jaren & Bane handle the dirty work on offense.
Jaren is my Luka. Idk who I need to pay but I’ll pay a witch to cast a spell on the GM and the owner if they trade and/or don’t resign Jaren.
If I was Jaren and wanted to win a title, I would look for a max deal somewhere else. Of course that super max is enticing. Nothing this front office has done would tell me they are serious about wanting to wina title, and on top of that trying to save money on my contract. Yeah, no…
