  1. Through 23 games the 2024 Jays had 91 runs & 21 HRs.

    Through 23 games the 2025 Jays have 86 runs & 12 HRs.

    Lights ~~up~~ off.

  2. I don’t want to overreact or say anything crazy, but I have a feeling that the offense is going to struggle this season

  3. #CAN THEY HIT SOME HOME RUNS PLEASEEEEEEEE

    (It’s only April and I’m tired already…)

  4. front office has failed at the offense part of the ball.

Lack of power is a farce

  5. How long is this sub/online community in general going to beg for a Bo extension while simultaneously complaining this team doesn’t have enough power? His defense not being as horrible as other years and his batting average returning to form is nice and all but his skills profile was never projected to age well and it looks like his power is completely toast and it has for the last 2 years

  6. On a cooler note, I googled Evanka Osmak and learned she has a degree in Civil Engineering from Queens.

  7. Myself, I prefer low hanging fruit. I don’t have to climb to the top and fall while hitting every branch on the way down.

  8. In keeping with the game that just happened, the delicious cinnamon roll I ate has ended up making me feel quite ill.

Blue Jays steamrolled by the Astros, my tummy steamrolled by whatever the fuck my digestive system’s problem with cinnamon rolls is 😔

  9. 2 hits and only 3 LOB.!!

Even if they hit a Homer with all of our runners on.. we still come up short..

Is 25 gonna be a repeat of 24.?

  10. This is gonna be one of those seasons where we scratch out a 4-2 win and the headlines are like JAYS OFFENSE ERUPTS

  11. The lineup just straight up isn’t good enough. The powers not coming because they don’t have the weapons. Nobody outside of the top 4 are run producers with power. They are being asked to do things they are incapable of doing.

  12. What’s sad is that the AL East is pretty open this year, surprisingly. Yankees look mortal, Os are decimated pitching-wise and might throw in the towel if G-rod is out for the season, BoSox have several holes, and the Rays are going through their typical cycle.

The FO mailing it in hurts, but especially so in terms of player development in the minors. It’ll take years to build up the farm to the point where we can capitalize on young, cheap, controllable assets (Ross’ favourite) and make a big trade or two. There’s also the elephant in the room about Vlad and Bo where they just might not be the players to build a true contender around.

  13. Thank god for the Stanley Cup playoffs. I can tune out this team until they can get their heads out of their asses.

  14. How did we go from leading the MLB in home runs in 2021 to being 29th this year? This is such an indictment on the front office. If small ball led to World Series level baseball that would be one thing, but the overwhelming evidence is that the team that hits the most home runs in a playoffs series usually wins that series. Also this kind of baseball is just boring. Offence puts people in seats and keeps them coming back.

  15. Today’s the anniversary of my mom’s passing. She was a Blue Jays fan and all she wanted to do was spend her remaining time attending games.

My mom died a disappointed Blue Jays fan. I’m glad to see they lived up to that reputation tonight!

  16. It’s a long season but trends have developed that’s NOT good for the Jays right now. The Jays are getting plenty of hits (and even that dried up tonight) but can’t get the big fly or the clutch hit. That kind of thing puts extreme pressure on the starting pitchers and when they start to struggle a little bit it all becomes even MORE magnified.

I read one of those stupid rumor sites and it said that Schneider could be the first manager fired this season. I usually dismiss these things but seeing as how Atkins is under the gun to keep his job he might just do that in season. Hopefully the Jays can turn things around and get back on a winning note.

On a sartorial note, those Astros City Connect unis are SWEEEEET! I wouldn’t mind if they come out with a road version and make that their permanent unis.

  17. Is our thing now that we turn losing teams into winning teams. So supportive. But pls support your fans with some HRsssssss
