  1. The deluge of penalties we saw at both tackle spots was absolutely miserable last year. In an imperfect draft, raising that floor at LT should be a fantastic upgrade at worst, and the upside could be much better. I’d love a splash pick like Jeanty, but I’m ok with this inevitable pick.

  2. Will Campbell is NO WHERE NEAR eveb half as good as Tristan Wirfs. Praying on a guard to play LT and then taking them at 4? If Kraft allows the Patriots to take Campbell at 4 he should just sell the team. It's legit over for the next 5 years if the Patriots draft him. Absolute horrid of a pick at 4. A Joe Thuney at 4 is NOT getting you playoff wins.

  3. Trade for Milton if he available and trade back grab a second then draft Campbell if he still there and move him to guard or draft that tackle from North Dakota who is projected to be a guard. Now our o line solidified

  4. Jeanty would have been RB 1 in the last 6 drafts, Campbell would have been LT 5 or 6 last year…nuff said. Take the BPA, kick the can down the road because this draft class of LT are not worth 4 overall in any way shape or form!!! Jeanty is my pick 💯💯💯💯

  5. The only shred of hope I have left is the Giants take Sanders at 3. Knowing how the draft goes for us though they might still take Will Campbell over Carter or Hunter and then he just ends up being an average guard. What if he can't play tackle or guard? Is it just a foregone conclusion he will be a good guard if he can't play tackle?

  6. My prediction is that the Krafts will hand the entire draft to Eliot Wolf and he will make NFL history by drafting 9 left tackles. Just in case. And each and every one of those left tackles will end up a backup guard.

  7. Thuny was just exposed at tackle in the Super Bowl. Dave Andrews was playing center where arm length is not as important as tackle. I see Campbell getting too easily bull rushed by much smaller guys when I look at his highlights. Not only is his arm length short, he's also have the smaller wingspan of any tackle if here were to play there at the next level. If we're taking a tackle at 4 I'd rather Banks. Otherwise I'd take T-Mac who would instantly become your number 1 that we haven't had in ages and he'd be good with Maye who lacks a bit in the accuracy department and has a tendency to just chuck it up for grabs sometimes.

  8. So now we make exceptions to rationalize the pick of Campbell that historically is a massive outlier with his wing span !! This is the definition of desperation !!!!!! MEMBO IS A BETTER TACKLE…… AND BETTER PICK…….

  9. We had better hope he can stick at LT. They should draft someone they know will be starting LT in the league, not someone they hope will be IMO

btw – the Patriots have only drafted one tackle with a top three pick since 2018. That's not really trying to fill the position IMO.

Conerly and Ersery are both projected to go in the first two rounds. Conerly could be gone by #38 but Ersery should be available. I'd much rather have him (plus say Walker at #4) than a possible LT and someone like Higgins at #38. Take the best available player at #4 and fill your need after. I might even be ok with taking a tackle in round 3 (over Campbell at #4) as long as you know they will stay there (and they aren't a reach).

  10. I’ve been saying it for months now there going to take Cambell at 4. Aleric Jackson is a good LT for the rams. He’s got 32.5 inch arms. He just resigned for 57 million

  11. Who else you going to take at #4 if it isn't Carter or Hunter? Warren? Graham? McMillan? Campbell may not be a true #4 pick, but he's a sold OL. He'll be a staple LT for years to come.

  12. Yes you are desperate. If Campbell doesn't work out at tackle. Make sure you draft another tackle at pick #38 that you can move to guard OT Donovan Jackson. At least you'll have depth at left guard.
