Kinda crazy the GM of the 85 bears wasn’t more of a household name, RIP
Vainisi and Jim Finks were phenomenal GMs Michael McCaskey took the credit for the Super Bowl Win and fired Vainisi two years later. Apparently before his death, Papa Bear said “anyone but Michael” when asked about who should run the team
