Not a complete surprise that he picked Michigan State over the U of M to transfer to – since his Junior coach is at MSU (Adam Nightingale).
Hopefully this change is good for him and gets him going… He definitely was not in the top 6 discussion at Wisconsin.
Would have liked to see him drop down to a lesser team or out of the Big 10, but oh well. Hope he finds some success there.
Speaking of the portal, the Gophers prospects for next year are looking much better than they were a week ago, with Matthew Wood coming in and Snuggerud returning. Should be a deep team and could be really good if they get goaltending.

Cruz Lucius also just entered the portal today, so even the one younger drafted guy that had success with Hastings last year is leaving which is pretty crazy.
