May the cats bury them in this 5:00!
He didn’t stick his leg out?
Dirty play but is that a 5 min ? Not 2 ?
Good. You can see Luostarinen’s leg rattling from the impact on the replay. Hope he’s alright.
I don’t watch hockey much, so I can’t tell what the penalty is for. Looked like two guys running into each other.
Why doesn’t Florida get a man back after the goal? Whats the rule?
The fix is in
Question: which leg did Luostarinen break last year? If he just re-injured the same leg, that’s gonna be rough for him.
It’s fine if it’s a five as long as they also give elkman-Larson a five as well. It was the same play. I thought both should have been 2
Only 2/10 Troubas.
Luostarinen returned to the bench. There’s no better diving team than the Florida Turtles…🤦♂️
He returned before the penalty ended. Good acting.
An Edmonton player does something blatantly dirty and this sub is not only defending it but saying “good”.
I’m shocked…well, not that shocked.
Edit: As I was typing that Bouchard misses Tkachuk with his first shitty attempt at a hit and then purposely butt ends him in the face. Holy shit Edmonton is dirty as fuck and you losers are going to defend it and say the Panthers are flopping.
The Oilers are a disgrace of an organization. Fungle is atrocious.
He does kind of lead in with his knee a bit.
4 periods in and I’ve seen more boy nipples than all other finals combined.
🤮🤮
Chris Rooney strikes again.
And I got downvoted for saying the oilers play dirty
With that being broken up by the 2 minutes of 4 on 4, is it two kills?
So…Foegele seems to lead with his knee but Luostarinen seems to leave his leg out there as well like he was trying to impede Foegele / make sure there was contact
Selljob. 2 minutes at most.
Two things , if Edmonton loses will Cory Perry hold the record most Cups final losses ?
Has any team in the history of the modern NHL killed 95% of their playoff penalties
To be honest they’re all trying to injure each other, I’ve seen a ton of knees on both sides in the start of this game
they seriously just asked Charles Barkley about the hit
Florida 🤝 faking injuries
They were planning his funeral and he came back out before the penalty expired
Christ, do hockey. It’s a textbook knee on knee. Bitter Kings fan, took out Jason Alison and ended any post season shot.
That was ugly. Get this garbage out of the game, the precedent for these intent to injure knees makes it an easy 5. If it were up to me I’d suspend any player who did this for a game too. This is a careless play that is risking a players health and career every time. Penalize these with extreme prejudice until players learn to stop doing it.
So, unbiased hypothetical:
If a player takes a knee on knee contact, what’s to stop them faking an injury for 2 minutes to get a 5 and a misconduct rather than a 2? Like what reason would there be to not embellish as there’s no way to verify
This is the only instance in 200+ multiverses where this was called a major.
Soft ass call right there. It was a two minute at most. Coulda easily been a no call.
The top down view really makes this look bad for Loustarinen. Hope he ends up okay (I can’t watch the game tonight so I don’t know exactly what’s been said) but I wouldn’t be surprised if this takes him out of the finals.
I think it’s the right call, I think Fogele had enough time to realize he wasn’t going to get a clean check like he wanted and you can see him still push out his front leg for the knee on knee. So it shouldn’t be viewed as an injury-based penalty, more so a player-decision-based penalty.
Also I get that these guys are like superhumans, but how about y’all take a hit like that and we’ll see if he was selling it or not. That shit would hurt injury or no!! Especially if it ended up causing a charlie horse, he’s gonna go down and stay down for a sec bc ya can’t skate with a damn charlie horse, let alone stand up off the ice!😂
