Steven Ellis says Ivan Demidov can TAKE OVER A GAME πͺ| Pipeline Podcast #nhldraft #cbj #shorts
the term that I’ve used to explain him a few times now is hero in the way that he can just take over a game uh when he’s got the puck on his stick there uh he’s you know he had a very good MHL playoff run putting up two points per game for his injury very skilled playmaker maybe the guy of the most pure skill in this draft class and you know he didn’t get to play much in the KHL he was sent down to the ml but he took that opportunity to ran for it putting up one of the best uh Seasons we’ve seen from a Russian player in the NHL in quite some time and you know a lot of people will try to compare him to Matt Fe mitchoff because you know he was the big Russian guy last year and you know talking to some Scouts who think demod off has even more potential there so we’ll see if that’s the case I’m not sure if I fully believe that right now but uh for me it’s an easy number too you you don’t pass up a guy that moves a puck out there like Nikita kov does
With the draft less than 3 weeks away, Steven Ellis dives into Russian Forward Ivan Demidovβs game on a brand new edition of the Pipeline Podcast, presented by Ruoff Mortgage.
