It’s definitely more win win and the Orioles are very deep in infield fielders but man Ortiz is exactly what the Brewers needed. If we didn’t have Ortiz we would be watching Monasterio and Dunn every day and we would definitely around .500. We trotted out fucking Josh Donaldson in the playoffs last year. Ortiz is god send compared to what we could’ve been. Yes not having stability in rotation with Corbin hurts but we would definitely be worse if he was on the still because the Brewers ability to find outs is never a problem. Scoring runs was but now with Ortiz it’s much much easier than previous years.
Win win for both teams. They wanted an Ace for a playoff push we wanted a young IF and SP to help build around. But He wouldn’t have saw the field for the O’s, Ortiz is the biggest winner of the trade
Loving the 28 BB to 31 K ratio.
There was literally nowhere for Ortiz to play in Baltimore, I don’t know how it was a mistake to trade him.
