Man, there’s really no Game 7 until Monday? (Assuming Oilers hold on) Wasted opportunity for the NHL to have a Prime Time Sunday game.

So much for watching two of the best teams battle it out. Instead we get 6 one sided games.
3-0? Where have I seen that before?
This series is giving off similar vibes to Canucks – Bruins final back in 2011. Back then Bruins were a better team most of the time but Luongo went into God mode and carried Canucks first two games, then Luongo falls apart and with him so do Canucks. Still able to get one more win to get to game 7, but Bruins outscored Canucks 23-5 in that series.
Over here we have Bobs carrying Panthers on 2 of their 3 wins, then he doesn’t really fall apart, but stops being next level, and Panthers fall apart. it’s тще as bad of a difference on combined scoring, but Oilers are still leading 20-15 overall (update 22:16), and have been a better team in 5 out of 6 games so far.
My god Monday’s game is gonna be bonkers. This team for 3 and half rounds dominated the playoffs and then just had a huge meltdown. I never thought I would see a Cup final reverse sweep in my life. The City of Edmonton better make Tuesday a civic holiday.
