so I think it’s safe to say that barklay goodro got [ __ ] and the New York Rangers might face some ramifications for this players not wanting to go to New York due to them not honoring their agreements before getting into the rest of the commentary appreciate if you can drop a like comment and subscribe let’s keep going now with good R they brought him in for the Tampa Bay Lightning because of his Stanley Cup winning experience and he does feel a need in a top nine role now he struggled mightily with the New York Rangers thus they wanted to move off his contract because what he gives you yes he was slightly overpaid problem with this waiver wire situation where he went to the San Jose Sharks is that goodro did have a no movement CLA and due to him having that stipulation in his contract he would not have approved of a trade to the San Jose Sharks and because the San Jose Sharks were first in the queue for the waiver wire they used the waiver wire as a way to circumvent having to deal with the no movement Clause now is what the Rangers did against the rules no you can wave any player expose them to every single team there is a certain queue the San Jose Sharks because of their poor record are up there in the que but having two teams have conversation about good R and waving him to a specific team does put things in a very different light and while they will not face any punishment from the league I could understand if players decide not to sign with the Rangers because the management if they want you gone regardless what they agree to in Inc they will find a way to get you out of there goodro had that stipulation in his deal so he wouldn’t have to go play for a team like the SOS a sharks and not to be disrespectful that are just going to be complete dog [ __ ] next season now to be fair to the Sharks they’ll get celebrini from Boston University who is a tremendous prospect that people think very highly of maybe not Conor Bard level but just a notch underneath it so they’re going to have a good franchise player to build around but for a guy like good r he’s not going to want to go into a situation where the San Jose Sharks are not competitive for probably the rest of his career but I’d like to know your thoughts Down Below in the comments section do you think good R got [ __ ] by the New York Rangers or is it just a part of the business that he should suck it up and deal with it let me know your thoughts I’m captain Paul I’ll see you in the next one

Thank you for making this video. As a Rangers fan, I love my team, but I hate how they did business in this instance.
Honestly I thought the rangers should’ve kept Goodrow. He was a big factor for them in the playoffs (mainly the conference finals) and he has playoff experience which a team like the rangers need. He won two stanley cups with the lightning and was one of the factors in those two cups. IMO not the best move by the rangers but I know a lot of people will disagree with me
Anyone with a brain or ounce of integrity should avoid the NYR like the plague.
lame video attempt to click bait video. What other options does Goodrow have? Go to the AHL and tank his career? This is the reality NHL vets have to deal with, perform or some 18-22 year old on his ELC will take your place on the third line. One way contracts already guarantee full pay even in the minors. Sign with a NMC if you want further guarantees of not getting traded or waived (exception with buyout of course). A lot of vets take pay cuts to get those elusive NTCs and NMCs. Up to them if they want better pay or a more stable living arrangement
According to an article I just read the Rangers could be in trouble for tampering in Goodrow deal by Drury and Mike Grier pre arranging the waive and sign. It seems unlikely they will actually get in trouble for this though. Lol or worse, having to undo the deal. Can you imagine?
Goodrow makes 2 mil a year more than he should. Maybe 2.3. He could never get fucked.
