I would be pretty pissed if we traded Mark + #6 for Clingan.
Clingan has had numerous injuries as well, and basically has all of the same strengths and weaknesses. I’m also worried about the fact he’s never averaged more than 23 minutes per game. How is he gonna handle playing heavy minutes for 70+ games a year??
Apparently these HOU guys didn’t listen to Lee’s presser yesterday where he specifically said Mark Williams is a big part of his plans for the future.
We should see if the Knicks want another Bridges for 5 more picks
If this is 6 + Mark for 3 I’m all the way out
However if this something like 6 + Mark for 3 + player (Tari Eason or Cam Whitmore) I’d be interested in that
No
Mark + 6 for 3 is probably not enough for HOU.
Edit: damn bro, forget I said anything!
They want Reed something fierce! 😂
Gotta love reporting. “One Western Conference exec” says Houston would like Mark for the 3rd pick.
Well, yeah, I’m sure they would.
This won’t happen. If it does, I’ll assume the team has some inside intel that his back is remarkably screwed beyond repair
I’m honestly not buying this rumor think it’s a smoke screen so Houston can add more value to their pick. From the comments made in the press conference with Lee yesterday I don’t see us moving off Mark
*Picks up phone*
Rockets: “Hi Jeff, this is the Houston Rockets, we understand you’re looking at moving up to 3. How does Mark Williams-“
Jeff: “Eat my ass” *click*
It’s typically a good sign when your 22year old Center sits a whole season with a back injury. I’m certain it’s nothing to worry about
No thank you.
Take Knecht and trade back up for Edey.
Just stay at 6 and draft Williams.
Mark and 2 future first, keep the 6th pick.
I don’t see the point of trading up in this year’s draft when next year’s is supposed to be so stacked
I mean, if we’re talking about a straight up trade of Williams for #3 and the Hornets keep #6 also, then I can see it. Otherwise, it just doesn’t make any sense.
