The Islanders Host Pond Hockey Tournament at The Park with the New York City Gay Hockey Association
[Music] the New York gay Hockey Association is going on our 25th year now it’s made up of nine plus teams people from all over it’s a very inclusive loving hockey [Music] family it’s been a little cold but that’s what it’s always been like playing outside so it’s nice to being able to play pond hockey right outside of UBS Arena where the Islanders play so it’s awesome it’s been fantastic I’ve been playing hockey since I was like 3 years old and I knew I always wanted to play hockey as an adult the G was the first place I could really bring my full self to the ring and I think this environment is so safe and inclusive that it’s just made my life as an adult really fun [Music] [Applause]
