Waddell basically said a couple weeks ago it might come to this — but it seemed like it was a “because of time” thing because he kept saying he had to focus on the draft and free agency over everything.
Just an observation, Interesting to see necas on this list after all the rumors during draft time
Not too surprising, we’ve been focusing on the coach. Most of these don’t end up getting to arbitration FWIW, we can keep working on a deal
Does this mean Sillinger is close to agreeing on a contract?

So how that this work. Is a lot like mlb process for salary arbitration?
Not unexpected. Just buys time to finalize contracts.
No bueno. Hopefully this gets done before the trial date. We don’t need to be alienating one of our best players. Also, what are Christiansen and Greaves thinking? They’re both almost exclusively AHL guys to this point. I’d be shocked if the arbitration went their way.
For those of us who don’t know what this is, eli5 please?
“After today’s proceedings, only one #CBJ player remains eligible for an offer sheet. That’s Cole Sillinger. Once the three filed for arbitration, that option went out the window and Kent Johnson is not eligible to receive an offer sheet.”
Can someone explain this to me? I don’t know how NHL contracts work.
