  1. I’d like to see Steer and Candelario switch spots. It might allow Steer to see better pitches and it would give Elly a bit less of a swing happy hitter to take an extra base. Steer swings 10% less than he does.

    Also, I’m having a hard time defending Benson in the lineup. He’s just not getting any better. His OPS the last 30 days is .357. Steven Kwan has a higher batting average on the *season* than Benson does in the last month. If the season were to end today he’d have the 3rd highest K% and he’s on track to finishing the year with 5th most Ks in baseball history. He needs a break and some time to get right.

  2. I just hope this lineup can actually score more than 2 runs. Out of Greene’s 17 starts, they have scored two or less 8 times. Give this guy some damn run support!

  3. Here’s hoping the 8 or more runs Reds show up today, instead of the 2 or fewer runs Reds. It feels like it’s one or the other, nothing in between.
