Happy for DeMar. That contract is a great deal for the Kings too

I’m happy for Demar Kings were actually decent last year
Kings shouldn’t have messed up the Siakam trade. Fox and Siakam pairing would’ve been better than Fox and DD.
Barnes is kind of a drag, addition by subtraction.
Couldn’t even get on a LA team, I guess they didn’t want you to come back home demar lmaoo
Gonna be honest: I think this trade is a mistake for the Kings
Yes the overall cost is low (It’s not like they had much to trade aside from Keegan) but they needed to add more defensive wings/center depth but instead they doubled down on offense – and on a player known for being a poor defender – who isn’t an outside threat
I love DeMar and i’m happy he got one last payday but this is a horrendous fit next to Sabonis, and I think Sacramento will regret this very soon (and if Fox’s shooting regress it’ll look even worse)
Derozan would make 300 million plus after this deal career earnings

I know they’re rebuilding and getting picks but damn Chicago’s just picking up that phone high off their minds and accepting anything.
Bulls got 2 2nds for taking on Duarte.
That’s the type of stuff cap space gets you.

Spurs get a 2031 unprotected pick swap from the Kings for absorbing Harrison Barnes, a slightly below average PF with two years left on his deal. Would’ve been a fine depth piece for the bench.

If we don’t pick up Bruce’s option we could have had Harrison Barnes and an unprotected pick swap with the Kings? Hoping Masai surprises me because I doubt we do better than that
Should’ve just traded for Siakam last season. Kings going to play zero defence. Still a play-in team in my opinion.
